PURPOSE
The
Order of Teleos
is a loose-knit spiritual association for persons
who are committed to
conscious and purposeful living.
It provides a vehicle for those who wish
to express
their inner experiences through Ceremonial Acts.
CEREMONIAL
ACTS
Among the ceremonial acts to be performed under
the
spiritual authority of the Order of Teleos are:
MARRIAGE
a union between
two who love each other
in a marriage
to be legally
recognized
by civil authorities
UNION
for two persons
who choose
one another as
Transformational
Life Partners
or
for an individual,
whether male
or female,
who has experienced
a union
of the yang
and yin within
BLESSINGS
of new life
of a new name
etc.
ORDINATION
for
those becoming ministers of
The Order of Teleos
Training
and Ordination by
Arleen Lorrance and Mariamne Paulus
FORGIVENESS, RECONCILIATION,
or RELEASE
for those who wish
an outer recognition
of an inner healing of a breach,
of a process of letting go,
or of
the dissolution of a marriage,
DYING
for those
who wish
a blessing
and recognition
of their
readiness to undergo the transformation represented by death
MEMORIAL
SERVICE
in
celebration of those
who have undergone
the transformation represented by death.
And
such other ceremonies as may from time to time be brought into
being by the clergy of The Order of Teleos.
