A graduate, with distinction, of Stanford University with a B.A. in Education, Diane Pike earned her Master’s Degree in English from Columbia University. Further graduate studies at Union Theological Seminary, San Jose State University, Pacific School of Religion, and United States International University in Guidance and Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Ethics, Human Growth and Development, and Theology have broadened her preparation for her present work. She has also attended countless workshops and seminars in humanistic psychology and various approaches to human growth and development, and she has been a student of the Ageless Wisdom for nearly forty years.
In 1981 Diane took the name Mariamne Paulus to express her commitment to present the Wisdom Teachings. She uses it in all her teaching and has written a series of Wisdom Books as Mariamne Paulus.
Diane Pike served for three years in Montevideo, Uruguay, as a missionary-teacher under the United Methodist Church. She speaks Spanish fluently. Upon her return to the United States Ms. Pike was a teacher of high school English in San Jose, California, and the Director of Youth and Children’s Work at the First United Methodist Church in Palo Alto, California. Since 1967, Ms. Pike has devoted herself to developing a world view within which persons can realize their human potential and take their rightful places as co-creators of the course of evolution by their conscious choices and decisions.
